At the CIPS Harrow Branch event in Wembley, procurement professionals will come together to explore a question that sits at the heart of every negotiation: why do some negotiations move forward — while others stall, escalate, or fail?
Often, the difference is not the facts.
It’s how the negotiation is shaped.
As part of the programme, TWS Partners will host a session on “Negotiation & Influencing in Practice – live in an AI environment.” The session focuses on how procurement professionals can actively shape negotiation outcomes using concepts from game theory and behavioural economics.
Rather than staying on a theoretical level, the session is designed to be practical and directly applicable to real negotiation situations. Participants will explore how different strategies influence counterpart behaviour and where traditional approaches fall short in complex, dynamic settings.
A central element of the session is a live, interactive negotiation exercise in an AI-supported environment. Participants will be able to test different approaches in real time and observe how behaviour changes in response.
The session combines strategic insight with hands-on experimentation, giving participants clear takeaways for their day-to-day negotiations.
